Seven years ago, Julia, the owner and designer of The POPPY POD,  never would have guessed that  career in the floral world was in the cards for her. Then a legal assistant in Ukraine, she was enjoying floristic as a hobby and a chance to compliment the “9 to 5” with a touch of creativity.

Decided to follow her artistic calling she made a transition to floral design. This career change coincided with her move to Santa Barbara,  whose amazing nature and friendly people play the primary inspiring role for Julia. Learning  the basics of floral design at floral classes and freelance gigs with local florists allowed her to create her own floral company and  help people celebrate life’s most important moments through flowers.
